You do not have to be told that you're in Chinatown, you immediately sense it.

A Chinese wedding in Ho-Chi-Minh City comes to mind where everyone wanted 
to emigrate to America. And, where to in America? Chinatown!

Santa Cruz do Sul, 26 January 2026 I'm writing this on the evening of Monday, 26 January 2026. Exactly a week ago, I got so furious when taking in my usual dosis of information, that all of sudden I turned off my laptop and said to myself: That is enough, I'm not going to give my attention anymore to people I consider  power hungry, utterly vain and thoroughly nuts. Near Seoul Station

Seoul, 5 June 2026 Near Seoul Station, I spotted a side street that, when walking along, transported me to another time, or, more to the point, a feeling of timelessness. Shortly before becoming aware of these flowers I saw what must have been an art class engaged in attentive drawing. No sound was to be heard, only eternity seemed to be present. A rare experience!
