In Busan

Busan, North Port, 8 June 2026

It was overcast on this day, and my mood was likewise.
I strolled around, pretty listless, when a WhatsApp message
from Telmo, one of my students in Santa Cruz do Sul doing some
training at one of the hospitals here, asked whether I would have time
for lunch. And, so we had a pleasent conversation over lunch.

On my way back to the hotel it began to drizzle, yet after a brief stay in my
room I ventured out again, learned from the receptionist that the port was in
walking distance and felt excited when I got there: space, the sea, and stunning
architecture – precisely my idea of paradise. Well, one of them ...
