This is one of the flowers that I've discovered in South Korea.
And, like all discoveries that enchant me, I coud not get enough
of it. Also, all of a sudden I saw them everywhere.
The news junkie who had enough
Santa Cruz do Sul, 26 January 2026 I'm writing this on the evening of Monday, 26 January 2026. Exactly a week ago, I got so furious when taking in my usual dosis of information, that all of sudden I turned off my laptop and said to myself: That is enough, I'm not going to give my attention anymore to people I consider power hungry, utterly vain and thoroughly nuts. It is beyond me why I've never seriously questioned my addiction to the news; that the fact that I'm a news junkie never really bothered me. Sure, I somehow knew that but I did not take it seriously. On the contrary, it was a badge of honor. It baffles me that only now I'm willing to see what it is: a disease that turns me into a prisoner of news that I can do without if I so wish.
