Light at play

The reflection on the facade of this building entranced me so much
that I not only took numerous photos but came back the next day to
take even more photos.

Rarely have I been so conscious of the fact that moments (and in this case: the light)
changes so rapidly. And also: Much depends on the angle that I'm choosing.

Needless to say, this is what photography is all about. Yet in order to understand it
you do have to experience it. One might start by looking ...

Santa Cruz do Sul, am 14. Januar 2025 Auf dem Weg zum Friseur fiel mir plötzlich diese Anordnung in Gelb in die Augen. In der Folge machte ich noch ganz viele andere Aufnahmen, vor allem von Blumen, die ich heranzoomte, doch nur wenige gelangen. Seit 2008 gehe ich nun zum selben Friseur, einem sympathischen Mann, der sein Handwerk versteht und viel redet. Wie wohl alle Friseure. Ich sei unentschieden, ob ich im März nach Brasilia fliegen solle, die dortige  Architektur interessiere mich. Obwohl, ich hätte schon so viele Fotos davon gesehen  –  und bessere würde ich wohl kaum hinkriegen. Er sei nur einmal, während eines  Zwischenstopps, dort gewesen, meinte der Friseur Das sei eine Stadt für Politiker,  nach zwei Stunden hätte er sie gesehen gehabt. Die restliche Zeit sprach er dann von Santa Caterina, und speziell von Florianópolis und den dortigen Stränden, und in mir dachte es, so recht eigentlich sollte ich dorthin – obwohl ich dort schon einmal war. Eine Entdeckung

Santa Cruz do Sul, am 14. Januar 2025 Ich bin zumeist auf Autopilot unterwegs, gehe meine üblichen Wege  und nehme meist wahr, was mir vertraut ist. Seit ich meine Handy-Kamera dabei habe, hat sich das geändert: Ich gehe aufmerksamer meiner Wege. Weshalb ich an diesem Morgen einen anderen als den gewohnten Weg eingeschlagen habe, weiss ich nicht, weshalb mir diese Blume aufgefallen ist, ebenso wenig. Erstaunt bin ich jedoch, dass ich sie bisher noch nie bewusst wahrgenommen habe.
