When coming across the unexpected

When going on walks not far from where I happen

to live, I often come across sights that call my attention

for the simple fact that I did not expect them being there.

The colours above, for example, I do not associate with the 

German part of Switzerland although I know from experience

that these and similar colours are to be found there. Well, knowing

is one thing, an experience of the senses quite another.

PS: I doubt that I had paid attention to this housefront without

having my cellphone (and thus the camera) ready.
