Hibiscus

Santa Cruz do Sul, 31 January 2024

What did you photograph today?, asks Takako. Let me show you, I say.
She looks at these two pics and says, I think them beautiful, I do not think
anybody else would take such Hibiscus-pics.

Needless to say, I can only guess as to why I'm taking such pictures.
My present guess is that I feel intrigued by nature's creativity.
And, I feel it is a privilege to be able to witness it.

For most of my life I have been blind to what surrounds me.
I was busy. With whatever. And rarely in the present.

This hasn't changed yet nowadays I'm able to pause from time to time.
When taking pictures, for example.
