Naturformen

Image

Two Bees

Image
To photograph means to discover. Literally, that is. When I took this picture, I was only aware of the bee on the right. Did you catch it?, asked my brother, who was standing next to me. I think so, I replied, looked at the display of my phone, saw it and felt quite content. I felt even more content when I later on discovered the bee on the left, for I hadn't had it at all  on my radar when I was taking the photograph. This is how I remember it. When I told my brother about it, he said  that he had seen and mentioned the two bees when I was about to take the photograph ...

In Domat/Ems

Image
Domat/Ems, 25 July 2024 My intention was to visit Vals but the the train was so full and the passengers so noisy thtat I decided to get off at Domat/Ems, and to go for a walk across the nearby gold course. I tried to focus my mind on my movements, to feel my feet touch the ground, and to experience the  wind on my skin. I remember some successful moments.

In Szombathely, Hungary

Image
27 October 2021 I've been several times to Szombathely where I always stayed at a monastery turned event center. There were never many guests, I enjoyed the spartan rooms that instilled in me a sense of freedom. The pond was nearby. It was one of the places that I regularly visited. When I look at the photo now  it feels  like I'm right  there for this is what photos often do  –  they bring back time.

Sollentuna, Stockholm

Image
Sollentuna, 10 August 2023 When, on my way to the centre of Stockholm, the train stopped at Sollentuna, some colourful highrises caught my attention. I got off, walked around, took some   photos and started to talk to a guy who was looking at the building and taking notes. He was a city planner and explained  to me that the highrise to the left was the courthouse. I remember us having a longer talk on just about everything of  which I do hardly recall anything except his question whether I  was a philosopher.
